What App-mania Can Mean for Your Business [INFOGRAPHIC]
Everyone who has a smartphone is downloading apps like there is no tomorrow. That’s what today’s infographic by App Annie seems to suggest. While Norway is where people are willing to pay big money for apps, app downloads are showing impressive growth rates in East Asian countries such as China, and Japan. According to research group Distimo, 91% of the top 100 brands on Interbrand’s 2011 Best Global Brands use apps to market themselves. These brands seem to know how to capitalize on the app-mania that is sweeping the world.
